Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Your image is processed entirely inside your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. It is never sent to a server, so it stays private on your device.
Which image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG and WebP images, and export the resized result as JPG, PNG or WebP.
Will resizing reduce my image quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. For JPG and WebP you can set the quality slider; PNG is lossless. Enlarging an image cannot add detail that was not in the original.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the page has loaded, the resizer works without an internet connection because nothing is sent over the network.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 50 MB and up to 100 megapixels are supported. Very large images may be slow on older phones and computers.
